Breaking news crushing MAGA?

What in the world – a goat sculpture covered in trump $100 bills at President Trump’s Mar A Lago resort! And people are saying this is 100% PROOF Christians who voted for President Trump are now worshiping Trump.

Twitter post of supposed Donald Trump idolWe need to remember:

    1. What is the argument?
    2. Did Christians create an idol?
    3. What about the hypocrisy calling conservatives idolaters while celebrating Black Lives Matter as they literally bow to murals of felons in worship?

Further, the argument claiming Christians are worshiping Trump is being made by the same people:

  • Saying child sacrifice by the millions is ‘my choice’
  • Mutilating children through gender reassignment surgery and harsh hormone replacement – without parental notification – is good
  • There’s over 80 genders
  • Young girls must subject themselves to men in their locker rooms, bathrooms and sporting events
  • And millions of illegal immigrants storming our nation committing over 320,000 cases of child trafficking, taking the lives of innocent teens and citizens, is good. They also shot down a bill protecting women from migrant crime that has skyrocketed to over 620,000 cases!

These are the types of arguments we must be diligent to throw down. Remember 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-6:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”

I. Did Trump supporters make this?

This sculpture is actually a project known as Project G.O.A.T., which stands for Global Offensive Against Trafficking. Founder, Rob Canton started this all by rescuing goats and having a blind and deaf goat born that they raised, named Grady.

GOAT baseballHis art centers around goat sculptures, transforming them into Americana art – like baseball, hip hop artists, Harely Davidson. All to raise money to fight human trafficking. A worthy cause – even though I disagree with the message and don’t like the art.

Project GOAT Harley DavidsonFrom their website: “Project GOAT is a charitable program of A+C Foundation, a community foundation comprised of Athletes, Artists, and the Causes they are passionate about. Project GOAT was Launched in the lead-up to Super Bowl 55 in Tampa, 55 GOATs were created and will be sold to spread awareness to fight and prevent human trafficking & sexual exploitation of children. It aims to provide funding for organizations dedicated to rescuing & rehabilitating victims of human trafficking.”

And on their Instagram, Project GOAT said:

#ProjectGOAT is the Global Offensive Against Trafficking and is focused on raising awareness and support for the fight against human trafficking and exploitation of children.

II. What about the $100 bill replacing in God we trust with In Trump we Trust?

First of all, I disagree with that statement entirely and find it offensive. And so does President Trump who literally says he’s not America’s savior.

On etsy, the ebay of craft and art supplies, we can find and order this fake money with “in Trump we Trust” made by TaysCraftables

Anyone can make political art, crafts, Tshirts, mugs and sell them. Does that mean President Trump and his supporters made it? No. Rob the artist says:

“The vast majority of the comments I’ve seen and received about my artwork have been from individuals that believe President Trump is among the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) businessmen, dealmakers, Presidents, and/or world leaders. “I am pleased that my artwork triggered a ton of discussion and hope it continues to do so…to me that tells me I succeeded in my primary goal when creating art.”

And that is what art – especially political art – does: creates discussion, stirs the pot, even creating backlash. That is what this artist admitted was his intention – which is why

So what’s the truth?

  1. This has nothing to do with Trump supporters nor President Trump but rather an artist using fake $100 bills made by TaysCraftables to admittedly create a social media stir in order to create a fundraising campaign to help exploited children.
